Nanaimo will be hopping this weekend. Preparations are in full swing for the 5
th Annual Floating Boat and Marine Trade Show and the Vancouver Island International Children's Festival.
Just a block from the
Painted Turtle Guesthouse, at the
boat show you will see new and previously owned boats on 3000 feet of dock space in this dynamic downtown harbour setting.

Children's Festival celebrate your school year end and the 10th Birthday Party Celebration of Vancouver Islands ONLY International Children's Festival!!! Plenty of music, magic and mystery for all ages. This is both a ticketed and free event.
If you're head to Tofino check out the
7th Annual Tofino Food and Wine Festival. The festival is a celebration of the marriage of food and wine. Join winemakers, purveyors and chefs from Tofino, Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands, Mainland and the Okanagan as they showcase the best of BC in culinary talents and wine.
