We welcome you to join our family friendly event on August 29th, 2009 and ask that you invite your out-of-town friends to get a taste of the beauty and intrigue that Vancouver Island has to offer, and to experience the Harbour City of Nanaimo.

10:00 am - 2:30 pm Island Live featuring local talent Sky Brown, Glen Foster Group, Brian Hazelbower, Island Hue, Howie James, Alyse Paquette, Jerry Paquette, Kurt Phillips, Bobbi Schram, Shauna Sedola, Wind Weaver

2:45 pm - 3:45 pm Cal 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm Gerry Barnum and Friends 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm Trinitude 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Epic Join us for a fun-filled evening dance at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre from 8:00 pm to 12:30 am. Time Well Wasted, an 11- piece R&B dance group based on Vancouver Island will headline the evening. The show will be opened by local group Island Hue with Gerry Barnum & Friends. Admission to the festival is on a by donation basis. We want to ensure that the Festival is affordable to anyone who wants to go. A portion of the proceeds will go to Nanaimo RCMP Victim Services. Please note that only cash is accepted at the admission gate. See you there! Suggested donations at the gate are as follows: Adults or Families: $20.00 (or what you can afford) Children*: $10.00 (or what you can afford) *Please note that children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Dance Tickets The dance will run from 8:00 pm to 12:30 am at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre. Island Hue with Gerry Barnum & Friends will open the evening, followed by headliner R&B dance group Time Well Wasted.
