This conference, hosted by the VIU Business Students Association, is an annual student-run event designed to bring together learners from all backgrounds to develop their leadership skills through keynote speakers, seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities. While it is primarily targeted to university-level students, it is open to other members of the community as space permits. The 2011 VILC takes place on November 3–5 at the Nanaimo campus of Vancouver Island University.
