Halloween '08 at the Guesthouse: let the pumpkin carving competition begin!  Staff and guests alike gathered in the Great Room to try their hand at creating the most impressive jack-o-lanterns!  Some people were definately in the festive spirit, as you can see by the great costumes! Before pumpkin carving started, we held a potluck in the Great Room.  What's that, you ask?  The potluck is derived from the Native American giving-ceremony of the "potlatch".  It is a gathering of people, where each person is expected to bring a dish of food to be shared among the group. All in all, everyone had a great time at this seasonal get-together!
