Hello, my name is Katie and I'm the caretaker here at the Painted Turtle Guesthouse! I've lived in Nanaimo my whole life, and I have travelled a bit as well. I like working at the Painted Turtle, always someone cool to chat with, and I meet really cool people on a daily basis!

Hey, I’m Marie, a.k.a. M.J.! I am a German intern, working at the Painted Turtle Guesthouse from April ’08 until the end of August. Back home, in Munich, I study English and Art to become a teacher.

Originally from New Westminster I relocated to Nanaimo two years ago to pursue a Degree in Tourism Management with a minor in Recreation.
